Basic Computing and Internet Use
The Internet and Computing Core Certification (IC³) program is the ideal starting point for anyone interested in learning computer and Internet basics. It teaches computer and Internet literacy, and prepares participants for the IC³ certification, a worldwide industry standard that accurately validates skills and productivity in school and in the workplace.

In today’s digital world, almost all jobs and academic institutions require basic computing knowledge and skills. IC³ certification will immediately identify you as someone who has what it takes to succeed as an employee or student.

IC³ includes 3 modules: Computing Fundamentals, Key Applications, and Living Online. Successful completion of IC³ ensures that you have the knowledge and skills required for basic use of computer hardware, software, networks, and the Internet. Upon successful completion of IC³, candidates may receive college credit through participating American Council on Education (ACE) affiliated colleges.

45 Hours of class, lab, and self-study time is required for this course.

The Internet and Computer Core Certification (IC³) certifies basic computer literacy. The certification exam is delivered in a proctored setting, and uses performance-based testing. We offer certification candidates instant, standardized validation of computer knowledge and skills. Successful completion of IC³ ensures you have the knowledge and skills required for basic use of computer hardware, software, networks, and the Internet. IC³ is your gateway to advancement in education, employment, or other certification programs.

The 3 IC³ exams include:

Tests may be taken anytime during our regular open hours: Mon - Thurs, noon - 8p. Exams are timed, and take no more than 45 minutes each. Each exam costs $33 (There is an educational discount available).
