Basic Computing and Internet
Use
The Internet and Computing Core Certification (IC³) program
is the ideal starting point for anyone interested in learning computer
and Internet basics. It teaches computer and Internet literacy,
and prepares participants for the IC³ certification, a worldwide
industry standard that accurately validates skills and productivity
in school and in the workplace.
In today’s digital world, almost all jobs and academic institutions
require
basic computing knowledge and skills. IC³ certification will
immediately
identify you as someone who has what it takes to succeed as an employee
or student.
IC³ includes 3 modules: Computing Fundamentals, Key Applications,
and Living Online. Successful completion of IC³ ensures that
you have the knowledge and skills required for basic use of computer
hardware, software, networks, and the Internet. Check out the IC³

[NOTE: Upon successful completion of IC³, candidates may receive
college credit through participating ACE-affiliated colleges.]
45 Hours of class, lab, and self-study time is required for this
course.
